Rich Lee, Co-Founder of San Francisco’s SPRO Coffee Lab, wants to share his love for coffee with the world. He depends on riding Unagi to avoid the hassle of navigating the parking crunch in the booming Mission Bay neighborhood.
Rich Lee – “I’ve been drinking coffee most of my life, but I started to understand that coffee is different at different coffee shops, different brewing techniques, different types of beans.
“‘Spro’ is a slang for espresso. A lot of baristas use it. It’s a slang we use on the daily and we wanted to kind of share that. Ultimately I think that barista’s should pay attention to how people consume their coffee and that it should taste excellent.”
Customer – “Yes we always enjoy their coffees, their wonderful pastries, and my dog loves their treats.”
Rich – “I wanted to get the Unagi because it integrated well with my daily ritual, without having to spend time looking for parking.
“I think it’s important to find what you love to do and do it everyday. And if you truly love it, maybe you can create a business out of it and share it with the rest of the world.”
